About Lisa Collins
I am a San Francisco Bay Area transplant, as are many other people here in the North State. We miss Mt. Tamalpais, but having Mt. Shasta, Mt. Lassen the Trinity Alps and Lake Shasta in our own back yard is a pretty good substitute! I had so much fun finding our home here in Redding, that I decided to join the Real Estate profession so I could continue to explore North State property as well as bring my professional approach to the business. I treat my clients the way I like to be treated - with honesty, respect, dedication and a commitment to excellence.
I graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and taught school at the amazing Orme Ranch in Arizona before taking my place in San Francisco’s Financial District as an institutional trader where I worked for Birr, Wilson, Paine Webber, Alliance Capital Management, Hanson Investment Management, Millennium Portfolio Services and myCFO over a period of 20 years before leaving the big city and a 3 1/2 hour-a-day commute behind.
My other interests include music - I am the founder of the Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival; mirth - my husband and I write and produce Keyhole Mystery Theater dinner theater productions and perform with the Redding Improv Players; horses - from hunter/jumpers to herding cattle; and supporting Monarch Learning Center - the wonderful, nurturing and exciting school where my 12 year old daughter is in the sixth grade.
